Our Vision
Our vision is to create a world-class celebration of music and culture, where diverse audiences come together to experience the magic of music, fostering unity, creativity, and unforgettable memories.
LTPD Record Company, Inc. was formed to represent people with artistic advantages. As a youngster I always had an interest in music. For me, listening to a live performance was one of the most exciting things to experience. Just watching instrumentalist and vocalist interaction with one another to produce something magical on the spot right before me was breathtaking. It is something that stays with you for life.
It wasn’t long before I moved from spectator to a willing participant, recording music regularly for clients in the studio. Thirty-Five years as a professional musician and half of that as a ghost producer, has enabled me to meet and perform with hundreds of talented and gifted individuals from all walks of life. This experience inspired me to start my own production company. February of 1988 in New York City, Hamit Up Productions, Inc. was formed. The first few years were spent on developing a network of the finest and most creative individuals in the music business. Through that network many successful projects were completed; ranging from Radio, Television, Live Concerts, and Records.
Record companies have the last word on whether an artist will be released and given the financial support it takes to make a project/record successful. After making 100’s of telephone calls to various record companies and networking to meet A&R executives (with very little success), it proved to be sometimes very difficult to persuade record companies to release original” music/projects. I had to stop, re-group, plan and try something drastically different. For me, that something was starting my own record company, LTPD RECORD COMPANY, INC.
When you go to a live concert or watch a live performance on television, you expect that performer to deliver. No one should waste their time or spend their hard-earned money on a CD created with smoke and mirrors. LTPD searches hard and long to find natural and original talent, something great but has its own unique twist. This is why we employ some of the best musician, songwriters, arrangers, copyist, singers and vocal coaches the music business has to offer. LTPD has and will continue to use all its resources to secure the best distributors for its artist because they deserve it. “Natural talent is a gift, LTPD wants everyone to have access to a present”.
